Greetings to my esteemed readers —
I have written an essay entitled “A Requiem for an Atavism” for the frog publication The Asylum. It is a piece about Apollo and Dionysus, reason and intuition, and how the classical tyrant re-emerged, in an academic disguise, in the world of late 19th-century mathematics.
The magazine can be found here. My essay appears in the latest volume on page 18, under the author name “Nostromo.” There are options for free pdf reading and, for well-to-do connoisseurs, purchasing a print copy.
The third essay in The Translator and His Shadow will be published soon, on Nietzsche’s “curse upon Christianity” and its relevance for our time. The march of the frog university continues apace. Be careful.
Nitimur in vetitum,
Αραλτης
